Stewardship is an ethic that embodies the responsible planning and management of resources. Within the bounds of our church, this means managing and maintaining the assets we hold, and furthering the spread of the Word of God through financial aid or the donating of services and skills.
The church obviously needs money in order to exist and operate. We rely on both the Church of Scotland and our members to provide this and the links on the left of the page show how this money comes in and how it is spent.
But it’s not just about money! Individual donation of work to support the running of the church is equally important. For example, the maintenance of the content of this web site is carried out by a church member in their own time, free of charge.
