BGH Sunday service rota

Those who help run the Sunday morning services at the Borders General Hospital have asked if we can gather a pool of volunteers from the Hawick area who would be able to be part of a rota (perhaps once  every 2 months) to assist with the Sunday services.  That would include helping patients where necessary get to the hospital chapel, being involved in the practical arrangements, and perhaps helping lead worship.   A minimum of four people is necessary for a Sunday, but a larger number is needed to give a pool to draw from.  The initial step for those interested in becoming involved would be an interview with the Chaplain – Rev Michael Scouler, whom we of course know well!   For those who go on to make a regular commitment, PVG checks, etc would be required.  If you are interested in considering this avenue of service please give your name to Rev Alistair Cook.
